Chair of Association Welcome,
"Welcome to the St Francis' College Parents' Association website.
My name is Gemma and I began my role as your Chair of the SFC PA in March 2016.
I have studied and worked in the field of children and young people's development for over 13 years and have a great passion for supporting children and young people in accessing high quality and unique opportunities to support their life skills during out of school hours, and I hope to be able to enhance this within the SFC PA for our girls.
I have been very fortunate to be able to send my daughter who is a senior at SFC. As a parent, I truly appreciate the roundedness of the SFC education, instilling confidence whilst nurturing the girls and seeking out each individual's talents, qualities which I aim for the PA to enhance in partnership with Mrs. Goulding and her team.
I was first asked to join the PA at a year 7 parents welcome event in 2012 and I really enjoyed the involvement. Historically the PA has operated as two separate entities, the Prep PA and the Senior PA. In 2015 it was decided to merge the two and operate as one overall PA. It is my honour to lead the team in bringing the PA together and successfully raise funds to support opportunities for our girls and their families.
The PA currently has 40 members and an active committee of 8 members from an international community. We would love to welcome you to any of our meetings and events; the more the merrier. It's wonderful to watch our members establish lasting friendships. As the college slogan reminds us, 'cor unum, anima una', 'one heart, one soul'.
We have a dedicated Facebook and Twitter page for the PA. Please ensure that you 'like' us to keep up to date with news and events.
The college is a committed advocate of the PA and supports us in all our endeavours. If you have any queries regarding the PA please email me at email@example.com."

Meet the Team
The PA is here to support parents, pupils and the college in enriching the SFC community and girls development. Whilst we continue to fundraise to support the college we are also working with the local community and representing the views of parents within college.
