Prep 6 Cycle Training – 22-26 Oct 2018
October 22 @ 09:00 - October 26 @ 12:00
Cycle Training – Bikeability Level 1 and 2
Monday 22nd October to Friday 26th October 2018.
This will be a Bikeability Level 1+2 course and is similar to those offered in recent years at St Francis’ College’. It is available to all girls in Prep VI and the PA is happy to fund the course (usual cost is £25). Your daughter must be able to cycle and have her own bike and safety helmet to bring along. Bikes can be stored safely overnight in the Junior Common Room and pre-course advice/ literature and the Highway Code will be sent to you prior to the event.
The course will begin on school premises every day and the girls will be cycling on nearby streets. The exact course times will depend on the numbers taking part and as a rough guide based on recent years, it will last approximately two hours on the first day and one hour on subsequent days. Start times may be staggered depending on the numbers taking part. We will aim to confirm your daughter’s exact schedule as soon as possible after receiving your application form.
To book your daughter’s place, please download complete the below form and return it to Ms Kippins in the Prep Admin team by Wednesday 19th September. Please enclose a cheque for £25 made out to the St Francis’ College Parents’ Association; your cheque will be returned after the half term holiday and will only be cashed if your daughter does not attend the course.
